Friday’s update is a bit late (Tuesday). But here we go.

*EDIT* Last month (February) was our first 1 billion point month as a team. We have never produced so much in one month. HOLY COW!

Presently, Team 32 has no one on our threat and conquests list.

Let’s skip to the big news. We have six…. count them, six members who have hit the billionaire club.

HayesK 2,397,122,302
P4EE 2,269,696,170
orion456 2,007,471,554

RoXQi3x 1,618,550,930
hardass 1,118,173,038
Torin3 1,011,126,369

These are astonishing numbers.

Since the last update, the slugfest that is Macaholic vs HayesK has not slowed down one bit as had been predicted in the last update.
Mac 7,049,687 ppd
Hayes 6,801,913 ppd
Keep watching these guys ‘cause they are hurtin’ them some power generation plants.

RoXQi3x is producing a very respectable 3 million ppd. P4EE and Torin3 are still neck-in-neck at 1.9 million. hardass, OC3d, ConundrumLR, orion456 and RamonetB round out the top ten with over 900k or better being produced.

The top 20 includes t1nm4n,Jaymz9350, chuckerants, JrClocker, zspaldin, KingScrud, eQuinOx, WhitehawkEQ, prime81 and gabi Golan producing 374k ppd or better. don256us has dropped from the top 20 all together this week and only gets a mention because he is writing this. PICK UP THE PACE DON!

Looking at the threads in the “Folding” section of the forums there is a lot of activity going on, many from long time folders and a few from newer folders. Great questions are being asked and answered. There is lots of support so if you’re looking to join in or want help eking out a few more ppd, chime in and be heard.

The next update will be on Friday which is the normal release day for this colum.

Fold on!

Congratulations to all the billionaires!

It's been years since I was last actively posting but have been quietly chugging away. The ppd cranked out these days are truly astounding! I recently acquired an old socket 775 quad core that I'm adding a gtx 950 to, so hopefully I'll start doing a bit better than by current production! Again, congrats to all!

You guys are a bad, bad influence. I just acquired all the parts for another dedicated Folder and will be putting it together in a few days. I look forward to filling the 4 PCIe slots with either 970s or 980s Folding in Linux. :D

Yay, I'm overtaking people! That's a recent addition of GTX970 folding in Linux producing ~250k PPD + HD7970 in Win7. CPU folding numbers have gone ridiculously low, so i've stopped folding on i7-920, and i7-2600k is still folding but gives about 6k ppd on 6 cores stock in Ubuntu.

Fold on!

I just secured a 980 from Hardass...picking up Saturday...hoping this will pop me into the 1 million PPD club!

Well, it's been fun being in the top 20 for a short while but all good things come to an end, I'm shutting down for the spring and summer. It's getting warm here in Austin Tx and I don't need my space heaters any more till it gets cold again

I feel ya dude, I'm in the Dallas area, just having this cold front here has me cranking up my 4th gpu to try and go for the million ppd mark, but I doubt it will stay cold enough to keep it running for long though. I really like being in the top 20, and since two of my cards are under water I think Ill let them fold through the summer, shall see if that is feasible or not this year.

This is expected and understandable guys. I have the benefit of living up north in Michigan where we just got hit with more snow today. I will have to scale back mid summer but not shut down. We do what we can when we can.

Its great to see that things are still moving along but I cant say it looks anything like the old days when I was folding, there were contests and talk about new setups and tweaks, individual users with massive gpu farms and 4p's were still new and slowly coming online. Oh nostalgia why do you haunt me so.

I finally got around to folding again, was on a hiatus there for a while. Currently running a 5930k @ 4ghz for around 30-35k ppd, and a ASUS Strix 980ti gpu @ 1392mhz for 664k ppd. Under Windows 10 Pro

Whoo-hoo! That is some massive PPD for 1 card! I've got to get one or two. The drop in my electricity budget would just about pay for the card itself!

It's a massive card that's for sure, it was a squeeze to fit it into my full atx tower. I love the ASUS GPU utilities due to the fact I can see everything and adjust cooling .
