i got a ? for all you hardcora hardware people i amd planing to get a EP-8K7A+ and before i spend my had earnd money on this mobo i want to know if its good or what i read all the riviews on it and now i want to know from the people that have this board how they like it. im going to be using this mobo on games specially fligth simulator 2000 and 2001 (when is released) im also going to dual boot linux mandrake 8.0 and windows 98 se.
and of course the old quake and unreal you know for when ever im tired of flying around.
as far as overclocking i want to know if whit a swiftech h/f i could get this mobo to give me 150 extra mhz ?one last question what kind of raid controler those this mobo have and would i be able to have 8 IDE on it.

I've been asking pretty much the same questions, comparing this board to the IWILL KA266R. The response that I have gotten is the EP-8K7A+ is the board to go with. From what I'm told, it's stable, and overclocks really well.
 
Highpoint raid controller, yes 8 ide, best overclocker out there I think..(high volatage w/o mod, 1/5 and 1/6 pci dividor, 250 FSB, amd FAST chpset)...I'd go with the 8k7a+
