Epox 8K7A+ and switching off problems

i have an amd duron 850 and 128mb of pc2100 DDR ram, prob im having is that after about 30-40 secs the machine is switching itself off and the POSTMAN isnt telling me of any errors, but in the motherboard manual it states that only PC1600 should be used when using 100mhz fronstide bus, anybody else had problems like this , plz let me know

The memory is not the problem. It does sound quite like overheating or an agressive BIOS setting. Make sure that your HSF is mounted correctly and that the safe defaults are loaded in BIOS
