Hi,

I've been having problems adjusting the CPU multiplier on my 8K7A+ to anything other than 10 or 10.5. I have a 1.333ghz AYHJA TBird, which is factory unlocked. I've had the CPU running at both 10 and 10.5 multiplier.

When the multiplier is adjusted to below 10, the board won't POST (I'm not too bothered about this). The main problem is when I set the multiplier to a value higher than 10.5, the board POSTs, but the multiplier is set back to either 10 or 10.5 depending on the position of the first switch on the dipswitch.

I've posted this problem on a few forum on the net, and someone said that they saw a solution here (could be a problem with ACPI, apparently). I've searched the boards but I can't find it. Could anyone help me either solve this problem, or provide a link to a thread that could help.

Many thanks,
Dave
