Epox 8K7A mobo and SBLive!

I heard there are compatibility problems with those 2 and I am already getting my Epox mobo today. Was wondering, if I get problems with my SBlive! and my mobo, what other good sound cards with surround would work? or even better, is there a way to fix the problem between SBlive and Epox

Categorically, there are no problems between these pieces of kit. They are in my backbone system.

The problem with SB Live is applicable to all boards with 686B southbridges. All responsible motherboard companies worth their salt have updated their BIOS's in order to eradicate the problems.

Hope you're right. I've already got the sound card. Alternate sound card, btw, would have to be the Hercules GameTheatre XP. It was a tough choice between that and the SB Live!, and only the internal digital connection made me stay with SB Live!.
