ok i currently want an overclocking board that will would me untill the nforce mobos come out. I am aware that this board can do upto 2.25 vcore (provided you pencil in the L7 bridges). Is this only on the "plus" verison? also whats the diff. between the regular and plus verisons.

Thanks

The only difference I am aware of is the 'plus' version adds raid. I have the non-raid non-plus board and it supports up +0.4v above the default voltage of the CPU. My 1.2 Tbird defaults at 1.85v so I could do 2.25v but I'm hesitant to do more than 1.95v.

Do you know if 2.05v is a safe voltage for a Tbird? What does AMD say is the max safe voltage?

Thanks len for the info, the epox is 125 at newegg so i'm thinking about getting one.

2.05 is high, but if you have good cooling it not a problem. I don't know what amd says is the max safe voltage for a tbird, but i would assume that its safe to run at 2+ volts PROVIDED you have the cooling that it needs. i think you should try a higher vcore, if temps are too high then back down to 1.9
