it allows you to use the new AMD cpus like 2400+ and 2600+
however, 8kha+ will not be able to support 2700+ and 2800+

OK, that makes sense now. Allowing the higher multipliers to be read ok. And the 2700+ should work ok, just would need to overclock the board to 166 to get the full mhz if its a 166mhz fsb cpu. Thanks, i figure probably fixes some other bugs~allows higher fsb maybe also?
