I am about to build a 1.4GHz system, I was planning on using the new Asus A7A266 with the Ali Magik 1 but then someone mentioned to my that I should take a look at EPOX I am interested in the EP-8KHA with VIA chipset and the EP-8K7A with AMD chipset. To me it looks like the 8KHA is a good deal because it has 3 DDR DIMMS oposed to 2 with the 8K7A.

Can anyone help me make a decision out of these 3 seemingly excellent boards? Thanks

I have them both and the 8k7a is the CLEAR winner...best mobo out there I'd say...new bios rules too...250 FSB with 1/5 and 1/6 dividers....high voltage without mod too...plus rock stable. The a7a266 didnt give me many probs but it costs more and isnt as overclocker friendly..plus the amd chipset beats the ali in speed.

Thanks.
With that comment and with reading some other posts I would have to say that I have just finalised my decision on the Epox EP-8K7a+
