error: getwork failed ..?

i'm getting :

+ attempting to get work packet
- connecting to assignment server
- successful: assigned to (171.64.122.115).
+ news from folding@home: welcome to 2.0
-error: getwork failed -1, and no other work packet to do
sleeping for about 5 minutes then retrying


has been giving me this message 5 times in a row, about 25 minutes now. i closed it and reopened, and it gave me the same message!!

did i finsihed my week's quota or is their server down? or..???

You are probably getting a bum server try shuting down F@H and restarting the program then if that doesnt work try rebooting and then maybe your comp. will attempt to send and recieve wu's on a different server.

This is a similar error to what I have gotten mine were more like

+ attempting to get work packet
- connecting to server error
-error: conntion failed -1, and no other work packet to do
sleeping for about 5 minutes then retrying

Maybe you need to reinstall the program if the above does not work. You may want to wait for more replies before you completely reinstall F@H.

Thanks jbslow had to restart 4 times but finally got assigned to a different server
