1. The machine-default permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID

and APPID
{316CDED5-E4AE-4B15-9113-7055D84DCC97}

This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool. Event ID : 10016

2. The egGetSvc service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). Event ID : 7034

3. The NetTcpActivator service depends on the NetTcpPortSharing service which failed to start because of the following error:
The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it. Event ID : 7001

Probably Microsoft bugs... I got errors like that even when I didn't touch anything, IIRC!

I also got this bizarro error before:

The Superfetch service terminated with the following error:
The service has not been started.

Seriously, Microsoft?! lol

Are you in the northeast US and have Comcast? Comcast appears to be having problems, their routers may suck! I have been getting random outages lately (usually at night) and want to go back to VTel!

At least with VTel, I can skip the router! (VTel's FTTH!)

And the first one sounds like you may have a faulty USB port...
