OK folks, drivers could be my most hated part of computers. I have three old comps I am trying to get working with win2k and it has been a B**** so far and I am not usually one to get upset. I have one comp that is an HP that I can't get sound drivers for, and I got an older dell I can get ethernet drivers for. I don't know what the big secret is, I have been going to the manufacturers websites, choosing the correct OS, DL, and following the instructions. I am gettin extremely frustrated I don't know what I am doing wrong. please help!!!

TIA

I actually have two ethernet cards i can't get working, the old one is a PULSE H1012 and the other is a linksys LNE100tx. I didn't mention them earlier because I thought maybe there was something in my procedure that was incorrect.

ethernet card drivers

i dont know on one ethernet card, when did you purchase the linksys ethernet card? if it was recently linksys might do something on it. just a thought for you

hey thanks for the reply, I got the linksys to work, and I basically gave up on the old card. I couldn't find anything but win98 drivers for it, so I told him he had to caugh up the $20 for the nic card and it is working fine.
