Ever get that hard core feeling of stupid after figuring something out?

I just had that kind of moment.. I know nothing about networking.
Walaka7 is severely network impaired.. I however have 2 computers that i want to share a connection.. So i cruise down to the PC store and ask one of the guys what i should get for combining the puters.. he recomends a router.. Ok i think.." simple enough.. a little blue box with a few plug ins.. how hard can this possibly be?" so i get home, plug the thing in, and attempt to read the manual that came with it.. i learn to comprehend what an ip address is what what a gateway is and so on... So i enter all the stuff it says to enter and reboot then i try to log on.. No can do.. so i tried again.... Nope not happening.. and again and again... for days and i cant make the little blue box work... Finally i log onto the internet without router.. then i input address for the router and.....VIOLA.. the admin screen comes up .. i cofigure my password.. enter pppoe protocol info and 10 min later,, both puter are up and running...OMG It took days and countless hours and all i had to do was log on then bring up address of router...............OH the stupid feeling come over me like a freight train !!!!!!!! ANyway.. i thougt i would share that with you all.. thought you might get a kick out of it

Yeah.. sumthin like that .......Its also i bit ironic.. Im a first time O/C'r with my XP rig.. I read and figured out most of the do's and dont's pretty quick..... I learned how to set up a RAID array, i figured out how to unlock the xp (didnt see any help until after i already unlocked ) researched, bought, installed , and tweaked the best ram i could find (corsair 2700) I learned how to lap HSf's, set up a water cooling system..YATTA YATTA YATTA.................But this networking thing just blew me away
I dunno why now.. i just hit a wall and was like a turtle on his back. My online buds were at a loss that i was working somethihng that was relatively easy to do and i was having SSOOOOOOOOOO much trouble with.......I think im almost over it now ....
