I upgraded to a Sound Blaster 16 PCI for my old PC. (My old one died finally.) I'm running Windows 95, and have had problems getting it to work. Now, it appears the card has either died or just decided not to work. I've changed PCI slots, reinstalled it, and all of that. When I uninstall and try to reinstall it, the computer freezes about the part about updating Windows system (or something to that effect). I e--mailed Creative's support people, and they told me to buy a new one. What else can be done? I don't think its dead after just 2 months of use. I'm looking at downloading the newest drivers and trying that, but I dont know which set to download. Any help on any of this will be greatly appreciated.
