I keep getting "Explorer" errors mostly in the nvdisp..When I get them, I get them very frequently until I reboot. CPU temps seem to be irrelevant. I can go long periods without an error, but once they begin, they're frequent. Everything is running at the default settings. I tried different driver versions for the Geforce2GTS since the errors(most of them) have something to do with the nvdisp.(Nvidia display driver) but no luck. Sometimes I'll get the "Explorer" errors immediately after boot up. MY memory(256MegDDRCrucial)passes the diagnostic tests in Norton's Utilities.
I remember an article that said something to the effect that the default voltage for the Ram is not the accurate recommended setting for the AsusA7M266.(Cant find the article:( Could the voltage setting for the Ram be the culprit? Also, the "Ignore" option is functionless, I always have to select "Close". Please help. Thanks
P.S. My temps range between 42C-48C CPU

i know this sounds stupid but have you tried to format and re-install windows? formatting usually solves many problems. i format at least once in 2 weeks :) it keeps my and my pc sane :)

JUdt did 2 days ago. Still have errors with only essential programs installed. I tried a few things in Bios...so far so good. We'll see it how it goes. If it doesn't work, I'll likely order some more ram and see if it has the same issues as the ram I have now. It's Crucial memory and it passed the Norton't Utilities memory test if that means anything...
