Is there a place to get an external case that would fit on top of your case that would hold your heater core maybe a pump and res. Something similar to the size of the EXOS but with quality parts.

Thanks.

None commercialy that i know of, you could always find a really small aluminum micro atx case and maybey cut it in half and make a box for your stuff out of it.. :D modding is fun!

I think you will have to make your own. Though I think Prometia (I think it's them) has a Lian-Li bottom for the prommy that you may be able to buy emptey then just cut holes for it and make it work for the top... Still that would take a lil work though.

I was gonna save this for a post when its finished but i am working on a project that will sit under my pc case using a regular 20" toolbox. peltier chiller loop along with all the main water cooling components inside. eheim 1060, BIX, 2 80w peltiers, etc..

Hopefully my cousin's half sister will be bringing me an old compaq pc which I may be able to salvage a few things and hopefully for me a case that can be used as an external enclosure. Also someone in the alternative modding board had a case he called T2 or something where he just took an old case and cut it in half then he put mounted the top panel back on it. Looked very nice when finished.

I found a single drawer aluminum file cabinet. Its about 7 inces tall and 15 inches long. It works perfect. I cut the back out and mounted my core then the fron where the drawer slides in I removed and stuck the pump inside and then put my fan on. To be honest I'm seeing about 3 degrees celsius drop from the rubbermade box I had. Plus with it being aluminum it matches my lain li nicely.

chipcon does sell their Lian li Bottom aluminum addons but for a hefty price.. its about 150-160 dollars

when you consider the price of an actually lian li pc65 or pc65B is only 120 more or less it kinda makes you sick how much they're trying to profit off of it =p
