Eyefinity? On modern card.

I have a question about eyefinity setup. In older card that you would be connect two monitors with a DVI Adapter and then a display port. The modern gpu pretty much all come with hdmi ports and a large display port. So, now you would use the hdmi port and display port. Is this right?

You should be able to use any combination of ports for multiple monitors.
