OH
alright. i have Vista as my primary OS on my first SATA drive. i then have a second sata for storage, and a third for storage and has ubuntu on a partition. my problem is that when i plug in the third one, vista gets to that green loading bar but then stops with a black screen instead of going to the log in screen. when i unplug the third drive everything works fine. i have moved the problem drive all the way down in the boot order but nothing helps. i have quite a few movies on this drive so just plain formatting it is out. any suggestions?
-thanks

Well i tried booting in safe mode and it hangs up on "crcdisk.sys"
the drive itself worked perfectly yesterday, but after i put the partition with the linux install it now keeps vista from booting unless i disable that SATA port in my bios.
