would it be bad to run 2 different speed fans? I am currently running 2 super queit panaflo fans that push about 45 CFM but I want to try my max flow 112 CFM fan on it and see what the diff is. Will this hurt either fan in any way?

I would just remove the other fan but thats a major pain.

infan --> shroud/HC/shroud --> outfan

right now both fans are 45CFM

I want to make the infan 112CFM and the outfan stays a 45. They both work on the same air.

Oh.
HC= heatercore, I assume.

I think that the lower output fan would end up strangling the newer fan and your airflow would be roughly the same (if not worse, due to backpressure...).
It certainly wouldn't hurt to try though.
