Fan size

If I order an 80mm fan is that dimension going to be the fan diameter or the fan housing size?
Are Raidoshack fans any good?

The 80mm is the outside dimension of the housing. IE each side is 80mm long. I have never used Radio Shack fans, though i'm sure they buy them from someone else. I have seen Nidec fans at Radio Shack. Nidec is not top notch, but should hold you for a while.
