Faulty working units....

Hi all. Hope you can help me... here's my problem:

I'm running F@H v3.14 and when i'm running a unit it keeps conecting to the internet and when i look the log file, it says there that i have received a faulty working unit. Sometimes it finish the job but most of the times, it just downloads another and start over from the beginning and in 5 min it tells me it has to connect to the internet and it starts again... can anyone help me ?

Hearing your problem and looking at your O/C tells me it's probably mucking the WUs up. Does your CPU pass a prime95 stability test?

can you plz show me here to download it ? i've never tryed. Everythink else is stable including running seti 24/7 and no problems but i'll try to o that test. Can you give me the link plz ?

What protein's is it processing? If it's a PTrpCage or a pAla7-2 then it's running something called Gromacs (Gromacs is a lot more picky about O/C'd processors). Check this out for more info on that.

thx ! i'll try it right away. I'm not working on that wu. I've downloaded a core named fahcore_c9, do you think that could be that ? the gromacs i mean ?

That's the Genome core, is that the core the client loads up when it starts the proteins?

No. it runs fahcore_65. My console is set to download either genome or folding units. I've changed it to folding only now.

Seems i have a problem... i get errors even @ stock speeds.... What's the problem ?

yes. Torture test. Not so often but still giving me errors. What do you think ? CPU starting to go ?
