Hello,
doing research came across another board that has got me thinking, the MSI Pro266 Master. I had planned to go buy the MSI K7 Master or Gigabyte GA 7DX(Full ATX AMD761 Socket A DDR) and a T Bird 1000 pc 266, to replace my PIII700 @ 875 w an MSI i815 mobo.
Benefits of the master are it can use SDRAM and accepts DDR ram plus Intel cpu's. So I could keep my 700 or get a P31000 Whats the word on this board, is it good or avoid? Would the Pro 266 and P3 1000 keep fairly close in performance to a T-Bird 1000 pc266 on a ddr board?
I am weighing cost into this cause with the Pro266 I can use my existing ram and sell my 700 to get P31000.
Help I am getting sick of all the research!!
