Well as some of you may seen here recently i've been tearing up threads about the stuff i'm gonna be get'n for a friends computer i'm building for him.. orginally he said 2000$ was the budget , but since he's just a lil pressed, it was knocked down to "close as 1500 as possible without too much sacrificed".. so just to see what you all think.. This is pretty much all final descisions that will start to take place at the end of this month when his funds arive..

this rig is his intention for stricly gaming.. so here it goes.

(dont worry i'll post project pics ;) )

Abit nf7-s 2.0 (all nessacary vmods applied)
AMD XP 2800
1GB (2x512) Twinpack Mushkin lvl 2 PC3500
WD 120GB 7200 rpm SATA
GFFX 5700 Ultra
Samsung 19" Flat CRT with .20mm pitch :D
52x24x52 LG burner
Antec Smart 450 PSU

Asetek Vapochill w/Case :D

UPDATE.. :D i might knock off another 150 dollars as i might be get'n a BLACK vapochill used locally with AMD kit for 300-350$ :D :D

drop the vapo totally, use water, and get a 9800xt. if its for gaming might as well go all the way on the video card ;O

i thought about WC, but i the vapo is upgrade proof, and i need extreme cooling that's not "everday" maintainece. and 350 for a vapo is hard to pass up. :D
