I liked this sentence:

The strange thing is that this memory, even though rated at Cas2.5, wouldn’t let me use 2.5. That’s Ok though, we like Cas2 better anyway.

Penguin, that may be the highest benchmark you've ever seen but it wasn't 100% stable. I'd like to see some results from other people though.

in the other review it did not seem that the geil did very well.
The first review was done with a hand selected stick and sent by geil to the review.

The second review between the samsung and geil had a different conclusion.

I think geil may pick the choices ram and send it to reviews.
When the review buys a stick like you or I would then geil doesn't do that well.

Geil on the other hand have basically slapped together a DDR-266 module and have tried the old, "cool it better, sell it for more" tactic. Geil DDR-400 is in my honest opinion a DDR-266 module overclocked to the limit, with a very low performance score and extremely unstable without their heatspreaders, you see that it’s hard to choose this memory for hardcore overclocking.

i have seen higher only on pc1066 rdram

for amders this looks like THE stuff to get with the nforce 2. i would love to be able to run 7.5x240 with that stuff and the 1:1 pci lock.

Same here. I would love to see nforce2 run at that speed with dual ddr.

If money is not a problem, Corsair would be the best memory to buy right now.

For Samsung, I would wait until cas2 sticks come out.

I'm kind of hoping that by the time nforce2 come out, memory price is still not too expensive.

 GeIL USA is run by Encore Innovations which also owns OCSystem.com

OCsystem.com has a 2.12 Resellerrating.com eval....and thats 2.12 out of 10

Theres always XtremeDDR. It has been gettting great reviews, and they don't allow hand selected chips, by what SSS says. :D He doesn't lie. And Sam, when is your review over it coming out. Is it still the best stuff you have ever used?
Heres a good place to buy it. Its $97 for a 256mb stick of pc3200.
