There talking about Geil over at Corsairs forum.. here

Also i cant remember who told me or i read it somewhere but some reseller that was or is selling the ram said that the sticks are made by OCZ with Samsung chips.

Stay far away form OCsystems.com or Geil or OCZ products that are repackaged OEM sutff form other makers.

I've recently been using the new Corsair MXS3200 CAS2 stuff, and all I can say is it's top class, definatly the best mem i've used so far :) .

www.tech-pc.co.uk/corsair.php

I also own 2 sticks of 3200PL 512MB Corsair from newegg..

Both are running at 205FSB stable as hell.. One of the sticks i received from newegg when i bought 2 at once was DOA.. The one stick i was using while i wanted for the RMA is doing 205 cas2, 4 way,2-6-3-2-2 2T Fast CPU command, Enhance Dram Enabled at 2.85volts... Getting a bench of over 3000/2800...

The 2nd stick i just received back tonight from Newegg the one i got RMA'ed is doing 205 Cas2 4way,2-6-2-2-2-2T at 2.75 volts Fast CPU command and enhance Dram enabled right off the bat first boot! hhehe..

I have got the first stick up to 215 Cas2, 4way,2-6-3-2-2-2T Normal CPU command, Enhance DRAM enabled at 2,85volts... though there was too much screen tearing and i couldnt run 32Bit gaming with it.. hehe. i could run 16bit color gaming... Strange.. Dont think theres enough power for both the Ram and G3 ti200 128 to go around to keep it stable... I'm sure if i volt modded the graphics card it prob will work... i just dont want to risk that..

So bottom line... I cant max this ram...PERIOD! I should toss in an old graphics card like a G2 pro and see if i can get it stable at higher FSB.

SO this Corsiar 3200 v2.1 stuff is the bomb! and i'm happy very happy!

Theres always XtremeDDR. It has been gettting great reviews, and they don't allow hand selected chips, by what SSS says. :D He doesn't lie. And Sam, when is your review over it coming out. Is it still the best stuff you have ever used?
Heres a good place to buy it. Its $97 for a 256mb stick of pc3200.
PC-Pitstop

The review is taking some time as I am doing comprehensive testing on 7 modules

Unfortunatly the Kingmax I recieved is dead as a doornob and Im awaiting delivery of Geil and Crucial pc2700

Gosu,

I would recomend Corsair, Mushkin, XtremeDDR and the jury is still out on that new Samsung DDR400 (I am awiting results from Cw823 as he ordered it the day it went on sale, I am going to see if I can borrow the stick from him for the review)

 GeIL USA is run by Encore Innovations which also owns OCSystem.com

OCsystem.com has a 2.12 Resellerrating.com eval....and thats 2.12 out of 10
I will never buy from ocsystem.com again. They sold me my "PC3200" ram that has a hard time running 166.

From A friends post:

GeIL 3500 from here is 6ns M-Tec modules Tony. Same as the latest Twinmos PC2700 from Komplett. Infact they are EXACTLY the same bar the twinmos has stickers and no spreader. 222mhz @ 2.84v 2/3/6/3 Enhance off. More voltage just gave me BSODs. Wont even boot at 230. Pish.

It seems cherry picked sticks sent out for review while the public end up with crap....It doesn't even use Geil chips!!

IT7's and Xtremeddr PC3200 don't seem to get along. Mine won't boot windows with it. If you check their site they have certified their PC3000 for the IT7.

I can get the IT7 to 226Mhz using the PC3000.

I can get the IT7 to 234 using Samsung PC2700.

The Xtremeddr PC3000 isn't fully burned in yet.

Samsung PC2700

Pick Samsung 2700, cheaper and stable at high FSB.

Here's my results:

Do you think that Xtremeddr PC3200
is better than Samsung PC2700 ??

I saw that your Xtreme PC3000 wasn´t fully burned in yet.

How many Mhz do you think that you should be able to when you have fully burned in the memory?

I have a Epox 4G4A+

Can you post your results with the Xtreme PC3000 ?

thank you.

If you go to their site and check they have the PC3200 slated for your board. I'd call themand see what they say.

The situation with the PC3200 and the IT7 is pretty unique.

They told me that i wouldn´t have any problem with the PC3200 on my board.

What are your current results with the Xtremeddr PC3000?

What results do you think that you should get when it´s fully burneed in?

I´ve heard that the Xtreme PC3000 is better than the PC3200 is that true?

No I don't think it's true.

It's the same ram with different values in the SPD. I would absolutely go with what they say.

Was the person saying this doing the review or is this just some guy? What are they complaining about if it only does ddr444? I mean if I got a stick of memory that was rated 433 and I couldn't get it past 444 I would be ****ed too. Did you get what you paid for? Yes? Then shut up.

And that review where the person said that it wasn't stable and didn't perform as well with the heatspreader off? Really, Einstein? Maybe that's why blazing fast memory has spreaders on it in the first place.

People seem to be downing this memory just because it isn't corsair. If it does what they claim on 8 ns chips, who cares?
