time to speak up people......here.

To: NVIDIA Corporation
The following is a petition from all NVIDIA graphic card owners who feel Brian Burke, Desktop PR Manager and Dan Vivoli, VP of Marketing should be fired based on unethical business practices:

1. Brian Burke has become unethical and corrupt in his recent actions.
2. Brian Burke has been acting unprofessional and deceiving since the introduction of NV30 graphics chip (DirectX 9 hardware).
3. Brian Burke has been pushing websites to change scores and modify review content so their graphic cards looked better.
4. Brian Burke and Dan Vivoli, NVIDIA Misinformation Ministers have been creatively yet disgustingly twisting information about NVIDIA’s current line of graphic cards.
5. Brian Burke and Dan Vivoli have been involved in forcing developers to use NVIDIA’s own DirectX 9 technology (read pixel / vertex shaders). Note that Programmable Shaders are small programs written by developers to produce fantastic effects. NVIDIA’s own shaders reduce quality of outputted video which illegitimately increase performance.
6. Brian Burke and Dan Vivoli have been involved in forcing companies to take down application patches which disabled NVIDIA’s illegal driver cheats.

Of course there are more reasons; however the above are the most important ones.

We, the truthful NVIDIA customers have had enough of NVIDIA’s dishonest marketing tactics. We feel that Brian Burke along with Dan Vivoli are insanely incompetent, cynical and abysmal Managers.

Please help us fire Brian Burke and Dan Vivoli.

Sincerely,

The Undersigned

I haven't had my heart removed, my brain upgraded, my fingers replaced with cybernetic prosthetics, and been given the green stars to prove it... So I can't really move the thread myself. ;)

Anyways it probably won't be moved from here, atleast its in the video section. I just thought I'd mention it since you've been here a while and it is clearly a Nvidia only topic - you can set a good example for others. :)

Hell ya ill sign that!!!!

They screwed me by creating the 5200FXu

Somone plz make this a sticky in the ATi section, I need some redemption!

Thats fine if you want to fire someone and ruin there life because of a toy....

BUT, do not do it before Christmas! When people are laid off or fired before Christmas time I breaks my heart because people have FAMILYS. And how do you explain to your child that Santa couldn't bring all the cool stuff the greedy little bugger wanted, when really you just dont have the money?

they will not be let go because of this.......
if anything, it will serve to be a warning to them.

Yea but its still fraud. They lied about the abilites of the cards and tried to cover it up. I am more sympatic to the poor workers and RND guys that are gonna get fired for no reason because of low revenue.

By god if I cant get my money back, I want to voice my displeasure

This type of thread/talk doesn't do anyone any good. I dont know what your resume looks like but from writing this type of letter I can tell you dont have that much experience working in the corporate world.
If you want to make a point about thier business practices, fine. But picking on specific people is pretty unprofessional.
Then again, do you work for NVIDIA or have inside information about it? I would be careful how you answer this.

A note to the moderators: Does the #1 rule about engaging in personal attacks not apply to people who are unable to defend themselves or maybe are not on the forums to read it?

I'm very sure he didn't write it. Most people here realize that online petitions don't work, anyways. Pen and paper is the way to go w/ petitions, if you're signing one.

just to be clear, the people named above did nothing but lie and misrepresent the FX product line.

it is well known by now they did far more then what is listed in the petition.
if it was me, I would have wrote it far differantly....and it would be far more imbarising for them.
yet, nVidia pays them good money to do what they did....so it's all good.

btw, don't take life so seriously.
