Hello guys,

I dl'ed and installed adblock, flashblock, spoofstick and a host of other plugins. None of them seem to work with Linux. They work with XP though.

My understanding was these plugins are platform independent, or even if dependent they should work because I could install them!

What is going on? Any help will be appreciated.

I'm running Mandrake 10.1

are you sure it's not complaining about your version of firefox because if you have 1.01 I think they won't work unless you do this fix.

type about:config in your browser and it will pull up a screen
find the line apps.extension.version to .8 and they should work if you have the problem i think you do have.

i didnt have any problems when i upgraded..all of my plugins worked fine. try a clean install of both firefox + the plugins you use.

Hrmmm.....

Some of those listed work with mine. I did do a fresh install, though, as I recently reinstalled Windows XP. That could be it.
