building my first PC and would like to know if all the parts are compatible and sufficient. Just want to make sure the PSU will have enough PCI adapters/ATX for CPU, Case will work with GPU and connections on MOBO, etc. Help and pointers would be a appreciated.

Ok, you're good to go, but you haven't mention what case you have yet.

I dont see a CPU...that is pretty important!

That said, I am a little bit worried about that cooler. Especially if you plan on getting an FX CPU and overclocking it. That cooler isnt better than midgrade air IIRC. If you want an AIO cooler, grab a Corsair H80 at minimum (if you plan on overclocking).

As far as the PSU, all modern PSUs come with 24 pin and 8 pin for the CPU. It comes with 2 x 6+2-Pin... (Found at the website or newegg.com)

+1 On up grading the water cooler those series 8xxx chips make quite a bit of heat, plus also take a chunk of voltage to OC them as well!

all you need to do is touch the metal of your case and you will be fine... don't fall prey to "false" advertising

Ya I know, but when messing around with 1000 equipment, you tend want to be safe as possible so I wont damage anything. 5 bucks, it isn't much.

I have never used one... just dont wear cotton socks and shuffle your feet across a carpeted floor and the first thing you touch is a component.

well I'll be on wood floor and table so I should be well grounded, some people recommended the wrist band. Just wanted to be prepared. How does the build look.

Be careful... dont force it in, it should 'drop' so to speak, right in the socket. If its off, LIFT it out, dont try to 'slide' it around for fitment.
