Hey guys, been reading for a couple months on a bunch of forums, this one in particular. I just got my first pc a couple months ago and I'm now getting interested in overclocking it since a couple days ago Crysis 3 beta beat the **** out of my cpu. Rig specs:
Haf 912 - Upgrading to Thermaltake Chaser MK-i when I decide on a AIO or custom.
Asus GTX 560 Direct CUII
M5a97 (regular)
AMD FX-8140 Black Edition (unlocked)
1000w OCZ Gold certified
256gb OCZ Agility 4
2tb Barracuda 7200rpm 64mb cache
16gb Corsair Vengeance 1866 9-10-9-27

Now that we have that out of the way I'll list the gear I've gathered so far for my wc build I hope to do by March break.
EK Supremecy CPU block, not going with the Koolance version that beat it because it isn't very *future proof*. Don't get on me for that, I know nothing is truly future proof.
Bitspower 150 Ice Red Res
Swiftech XP 360 Radiator, from what I've heard my Chaser has limited space.
3/8" 1/2" Primoflex LRT tubing
Alphacool fatboys G1/4" 3/8"
Bitspower G1/4" 3 way female adapter (T-Line)
Sunbeam Rheosmart 30w 6 Channel Fan Control
Enzotech Plug for drain http://www.frozencpu.com/products/1...lack_BNPH-ID38-G14.html?id=Igsn3jRT&mv_pc=151
2 IandH Silver Kill Coils
3 Scythe AP-15
Swiftech MCP35x

Now time for math. My fan controller I picked out is rated for 30w per channel and a max output of 12v. The max current from the 3 Gentle Typhoons is represented by equation:
Watt = Current x Voltage
W = .53 x 12
W = 6.36
3 fans = 6.36 x 3 = 19.08
So my fan controller should be able to run all fans on my rad using a 3pin to x3 pin adapter hooking them all up to one channel, correct?
EDIT: I know this isn't what they run at all the time, just on startup.

Swfitech MCP35x = 1.5A 12V
W = 1.5 x 12
W = 18
I can also run my pump off of a seperate channel if I wanted to correct? Reason I want to do this is that I've read that if you change pump speeds it aids in bleeding the system.

Yes, I am using distilled + the coils. ;)
Feedback is much appreciated guys, should have mentioned this earlier but I wasn't planning on watercooling for quite some time but I got that tall heatspreaders on my vengeance so I'm pretty limited. In my stupidity I bought that new case for $65 on sale just because it was HUGE and had a lot of fan mounts.
On a completely unrelated note where do I edit my signature?

Great job! I say that very rarely so congrats. The 35x is a PWM pump controlled by the CPU fan header for speed so no go on using the fan controller. or the mobo till your leaktested etc. just run it off the molex on the PSU till you are happy with the temps etc. of course in 2-3 rebuilds down the road you can take shortcuts etc.

Was afraid you would say that, gotta do some sleeving now. :(
