You'll want to make sure it is running at stock while you are overclocking your CPU. You may have to change a divider to keep it there. Once you are done OCing you CPU then you can OC you RAM if you want. It will all improve performance.
Please download and install CPU-z and the run the program. Attach pics of these three tabs: "CPU", "Memory" and "SPD". Most likely you have exceeded some critical parameter and CPU-z will show us most of your overclock settings.
Turn it off, unplug the power supply from the wall and reset the board with the cmos jumper. Make sure you restore the jumper to default position before you restore power to the board.
