Flash BIOS with diffrent mobo

My friend managed to pooch his M2N-Sli bios while flashing it. I have heard of people doing hot swaps on a operational mobo, flashing the BIOS, and putting the original chip back in.

What I need to know, is can I use a M2N32-Sli mobo to flash the M2N-Sli bios to a diffrent chip?
