Is there any disadvantage between LHR and non-LHR 30xx series cards?

I have several LHR cards and came across the idea that you can flash them with non-LHR firmware/BIOS. I understand the risk. There is great risk. I'm not asking how risk adverse I should be. I'm asking if you know anything about the idea of this and if it has value if done. Does it increase ppd?

It only affects mining. There is no difference in F@H/PPD and gaming. Some cards had hardware locks, so firmware won't help. Some could be unlocked with proper drivers, but I do not know if the firmware will help, as those were specific models, like the RTX3060 (non-Ti), which was only in two revisions. Firmware flashing for some models was also locked.

Thank you. That saves me a lot of time on a dead end project. I have enough open projects anyway. I should work on completing some of those instead of inventing new projects.
