Any type of flash memory if cell is written many times over will give up after a while. Since modern flash memory is quite large manufactures developed ways to overcome this problem. This is done using algorithms which attempts to spread number of writes across all cells evenly. Depending on the type of data number of writes can reach over 100,000 times, but will depend on the case.
