I just added another new rig to my farm,

its a k62-400, as soon as i get a bigger hsf, i will start to overclock it.


total now is

2.8 GHZ AMD Power
2.415 GHZ Intel Power

I'm trying to figure out how I can get an XP or the upcoming t-bred proc and a new mobo past my spousal unit's objections and turn a pile of junk compaq deskpro into another dedicated folder. I have everything else needed to make a folding box except a board and proc, either in the deskpro or my junk drawer.

xp 1600+ are down to $100 on pricewatch. wait till tbred hits the market then xp's should drop even more.

I am saving up for a new PC after summer - so until then just a 1100 folding as often as possible. My mum is working overnight for the next few nights so it shall be on then

well, i do have plans to add 2 more gigs of duron power in the mix, maybe next weekend i can get a chance to order parts.

plus the k62-400 is at 450 right now!! and climbing

I have had good results global win fop32 on k6-2 [email protected] and there not even a good hsf at today's standards. I think those are the hardest chip to overclock.

well, i did have to up the vcore right off of the bat....i hope to get to atleast 550 when its all over, i have it running without the case cover on it.
