anybody folding with a morgan or slow tbird would you mind listing your mhz and how fast your folding make sure to tell what protien you folded to get that time. It's my thoery that the morgans will fold a little better than the tbirds at the same speed.

T-Bird 1000@1333 (Stable-no errors)

ProteinAg29A 11.50 M (690 Sec)

proteinAg29aNat 11.54 Min / Frame

In contrast, my XP1600+ (1400MHz) turns the same proteinag29a in 10.59 M/Frame (636 Seconds)

Mine is a duron 1.1 @ 1.232 on a K7S5A with 256 DDR.

Here are some log shots I hope it helps. If you want some more proteins just ask and I will dig further back. I also have the rig in my sig. if you want those just let me know.

Fold on!!!

looks pretty even between the morgan, tbird, and xp taking into account the difference in clock speeds.

looks like people trying to fold with the old kt133 would be better off with a 1.2 morgan unless you could find a good deal on a tbird and kt 133a and higher would be better off with one of the new stepping of the xp atleast from economic stand point.

Obviously, any would be faster than this P/// 700 @933 of mine...lol.

Tbird 1100 @ 1166:

ProteinA types - approx 14 or 15mins/frame
NativeBBA5s - aprrox 2.5mins
bba5_build_ext - approx 2 mins
GNRA hairpins - approx 6 to 8 mins, depends.

res0r9lm: I have a k6-2 folding for this weekend, slow as hell  :D

Hmmm......Curious...My XP is a bit faster than yours (1.7 to your 1.67), but folds just a bit slower. (I'm doing Protien A frames about 30-40 seconds slower) Must be all of the other stuff I have running and use the rig for. Is the XP your main rig, and what mobo is it on?

Mine is on a MSI K7T266 Pro (KT266)...

mr b there isn't going to be alot of difference between your xp and jetmech's xp if you weren't using it at the time also there can be quite a difference between each wu even though there the same protien. check out the native bba5 and you'll see a prime example.

My main rig is a P4 @ 2.0. The XP gets minimal use, mainly checking stats. The motherboard is an Abit KR7A-RAID. Memory is 256MB Corsair PC 2400 C2. Video is a VisionTek Xtasy 5632 GTS/V 32MB. If I can ever figure out why I can't get 150FSB out of this configuration I'll be one happy camper. :burn:
