What do u think about methanol?
Is it corusive?
I want to use it in my next project... Direct die watercooling, I need something that's not corusive

Methanol is not corrosive, and neither is any form of glycol, either ethylene or propylene (car and refrigerator antifreezes)

Methanol is toxic. Do not use it in an open system. Ethanol is a
less toxic choice and easier to obtain.

Do yourself a favor and do a search on methanol. Several threads talk about doing what your doing.


Oh yeah, windshield washer fluid is a solution of methanol and water. Usually a 33% Methanol and 66% Water.
