I am building a new rig from the ground up based on a Opteron 146 CAYBE 0540 I just scored. Anyway, I will use a DFI Lanparty Ultra, 2 Gigs of Ram, a 7800GT (just one), a 74Gig Raptor, and 1 optical drive. Which of the two PSU will be better the 460Watt Fortron Bluestorm, or the 535Watt Enermax? Mind you, I will be going for a 3.0GHz overclock with the CPU on a Big Typhoon, so I need rock solid stability and perhaps future proof power for possible upgrades down the road. BTW, both of the PSUs are within $5CAN of each other, so price is not an issue. Also, please don't suggest the OCZ Powerstream 520W (even though I know that its better than the two listed here) because it will not fit properly in my NZXT Lexa case.

Enermax is highly overrated (they're really only just above average in quality), but it might be better in this situation, considering it has a single rail I believe.

They are both dual rail, however, the Enermax is rated at 18A on each 12V, while the Bluestorm is 15A. I am slightly leaning towards the Fortron.

The fortron 500w bluestorm is the better choice. It will be more stable voltage wise, and is definately a good price for the power you get.

Hey, thanks a lot guys. Its confirmed, I am going with the Fortron Bluestorm. I will probably never go with SLI, so it should serve me well into the future, and its only $100 CAN.
