Since XS doesn't do Forum Wars, Todd mentioned this to me. So long as I can 1) Compete in Unlimited Xtreme and 2) Don't have to switch HWBot teams, I'm willing to throw my name in the hat. Reason for the first limitation.. I don't own anything but cascades and LN2 gear now Currently have a 6+GHz E8600, incoming RMA'd QX9650, access to P45 and X48 boards, should have incoming GTX 280s and 4870x2s, and plenty of other doohickies and thingamajiggers.

Edit: If there are no spots in the UX class, I am willing to compete in the E class with an E8600, EP45T-Extreme, GTX 280, and some sort of ambient cooling. What's the policy on ambient temperatures, what if I have a -40C ambient?

If your ambient temperatures are that low coz they are made by Mother Nature, ie: you live in the South/North Pole and are benching outside, then it's fine. But if it's man made ie: you are in a big freezer or you have the rig in a chilly box, even though the cpu is on "air" that would not be Ok and against "The Spirit of the Games"

After the stock scores have been posted (by the 19th) Maxi and I will look over the scores and pick who will go where. It's all about what is best for the team. Even I, could be in anything from Unlimited Xtreme to E class. Whatever is best for the team.

When picking a team (and this is a big one) we look at who will see it through to the end and who will push their setup to the edge.
The above counts far more than the hardware posted, as if they never post an overclocked score, we all could lose. And Forum Wars is about team work, not who is the best or has the most. One or Two can not win this, it takes team work. And why we are soo strong.

Yes...it sort of sets the baseline...and it's what the leaders will use to formulate their strategy for picking who goes where as far as sub-teams are concerned...Dean did a very nice job last time, and I trust his judgment. So when the time comes, set everything to stock, and let him work his magic! Since we're given three weeks for this...it allows for last minute adjustments with HW selection, and sub-team formulation.

if my water cooling comes in time i also have my e6600(does 3.6 on air could push harder), 965P, 2gb 800mhz ram, and now the hurtful one 7600GT.

that i can enter as a second system but only if i get some sort of cooling replacement for my quad before then. Let me know if u want that in aswell

You do not need to change HWbot teams, and are clear to bench with us for FW's

If it's back in time, I'm thinking QX9650 and 4870X2's on LN2 in the UX Class
