I know its asking a bit too much from u guys and since you guys have helped me out EVERY time why not just post here. I’m currently visiting family in Iran and I can connect to internet fine. Here is the problem they actually censor the internet. Some of the sites include, Google images, ImageShack, Photobucket, Digg, Myspace, Some chat rooms in yahoo, and as sad as it is to say OCForums. I don’t know why but they do. Anyways im currently sick of it cuz where ever I try to go they censor. The only way I got to post this is because im currently on a friends ADSL connection which he gets from Turkey and im going to be moving to my sisters house and back on dialup tomorrow for another 30 days before I get back home to Cali and wanted to know if anyone could help me by giving me the IP and Port of a working proxy. I would appreciate it very very much.

Thank you all
-Shawn Azar

heres the thing. i really think some of the filth should be censored on the internet but that should not be left up to the government. as far as the people go they really don't care because of the fact that the internet is SOOOOOOOOOOOO slow even when not behind a proxy thats its not even worth surfing anymore. i payed $20 for a 20 hour internet card that is suppose to do 1MBs, now i know i have a 56Kbs and i thought it would do 56 but right now the highest its gone is between 18-24KBs. Anyways as far as the OCF being censored its probably because there are discussions on proxies and so on because i realized that almost all proxy sites are blocked as well as anything that has to do with proxy's. heres some more sites that i found that they block

digg.com
OCF
You tube
ALL image & file upload sites
Google Images
Yahoo Images
Some searches on Google (I.E. Proxy hack etc)
Most Forums using PHPbb2
Anything to do with proxy's and so on its more annoying then frustrating

Country, and I believe the block may have been lifted recently?

Sadly it has not and i don't see it disappearing

Thats very unfortunate that the Iranian Gov't does that.. Just like China I suppose and many other countries. I'm thankful for living in a free country (even though it does have problems)... I don't get why they censor such sites... Yea, i know the content is probably against their ideology and all, but still...You can't use a web-based proxy from over there either?

IDK if you have tried this or not...but, what about TOR (The Onion Router) It's a proxy program...if you can manage to download it (if you can't find it anywhere, ask and someone can email it to you or something)
