Hello, some of you may have read my poorly placed 1st ever post on this site in the cooling section about a "quadruple order" from frozen cpu...

Well i am pleased to announce that the customer service guy at frozencpu gave me some of the best service ive had in years! He allowed me to cancel the broken order and place the correct order all with in 10 minutes of calling. No 45 minute+ shuffle of dealing with massive distributor robots and foreign people! I understand some people try to stay away from the site due to them charging higher prices then Amazon and other sources but I have no issue paying a little bit more to support a company that takes such good care of its customers...

forgot to mention that the the [email protected] guy responded to me @ 11pm saturday night on a holiday weekend, and is also the same person who answered the phone when i called this am!

So with out further blah blah, the reason why i even joined this site.. my new loop!

leme know what you think, i'm trying to fit all of this inside a corsair 500r case!
the little rad is for next to the PSU. i plan on cutting out an area and replacing with mesh.

Also, i will be replacing the stock fan and grill on the side panel with a window :borg:

yeah, i felt it was my duty to post this here and on other sites where i have seen people try to push other people into amazon>frozencpu... oh and btw, next time you go tell that customer support/phone dude man guy that some random person on overclockers.com said thank you for fixing his 1,600$ failed order!

That's typical of frozen cpu.
I've talked to the front counter guy(sorry. Can't remember his name) a couple times. Great guy and very knowledgeable.
Frozen CPU and Performance PCs are both great to deal with....

They can be a bit pricey but it is well worth it for the customer service. They messed up on an order and sent me the wrong tubing. It was a little inconvenient to me but they paid for the whole shipping and cross shipped the order. I've bought all my liquiding cooling gear mainly from them. Great company and they have expanded and should have about every single thing out there. Check out their enormous warehouse on their facebook site for pictures. I'd love to work there. lol

Thanks for the words of encouragement.

and yeah i would love to work in a place like that. My insurance company tech guy position is zzzzz

I will post my "1st timers build log" when i'm done, hopefully i don't run into any major issues that require harassment of the old timers.

Anyone know anything about Indigo Xtreme thermal solution? A tube comes with my cpu block. I was planning on using it but some one told me "you only get one chance with that stuff." Is it a major pain in the ***? iv'e always just used the TK paste sold at my local compusa (tigerdirect store now i guess)

It's not a tube. It's a piece of metal etc that melts. Read up on Youtube. Yep, if it doesn't work right it's garbage. The IX kit comes with two applications, err I mean tries.

I use MX-4, decent modern paste. No idea what TK paste is.

yeah... they are still around... owned by Porsche or something along those lines... also, i was mistaken i did not mean thermal take paste, i ment cooler master high performance... I really wanna use Indigo extreme on my cpu but after reading up on the process i'm abit scared to use it on my gpu's... also here is my response from razer tech support on how to get my 2012 mamba working

1. Open Start Menu and type in 'Region and Language'.

2. Make sure under the Formats tab, Location tab and Keyboards and Languages tab, all is set as the same language.

3. After making the proper changes, the Mamba Configurator should detect the Mamba and it should work properly.

all set to same lang... didnt work... what a crock of **** of a canned response... returning for 2013 DA

This is very informative. Check this out. - TIM Roundup 2013 -

The 2 main winners I'am thinking of possibly trying in the near future.

My MX-4 to be honest is working like a charm and theres no urgency to go and grab a new improved one since the temps are pretty much on top of each other.
