Looking at the athlon chips they come in 200fsb and 266 fsb. Are the 200fsb chips better to OC?? I know certain steppings are better than others. But noticed the 200fsb are slightly higher in price....

At stock speeds, 200fsb chips are slower than 266fsb chips. However, 200fsb chips leave more room for overclocking.

Actually, I would say you will have better luck overclocking the 266 FSB chips. Not because there is any difference in them and the 200 FSB chips, but because more of them have sold and you will most likely get a better stepping with the 266 FSB chip.
Since you can unlock the processors, it's not like a celeron or 100 FSB PIII.

Have no fear about unlocking. It is easy to do on a TBird. So, there is really no advantage to buying the 200 FSB chip. It's more expensive, and possibly won't be as good of a stepping.

And, most 266 FSB chips I've seen in the past 6 months have been factory unlocked anyway. So there's no work for you to do. Just sit back and let the MHz rise! :D
