I am currently trying to get my fsb above 200, see sys specs. I am rock solid stable as it sits now but I want to push it further. Any ideas? Thanks in Advance.

Daft questions but someone has got to ask them :)

Have you:

- locked PCI and AGP speeds?
- tried increasing voltage?
- tried relaxing RAM timings/ratios?

I would think 2300mhz is about the limit on a 2100+ T-Bred so I'd drop the multi to 10 or 10.5 and push the FSB higher. My 1700+ is running 220FSB x 10.5

I agree with Balrog, I would try dropping the multi and try to get the fsb as high as possible

goodluck

you stated you raised the voltage...but did not state it you raised the VDD voltage or Core voltage or both...if you havent upped the VDD voltage you should do this...it takes around 1.7+ on the VDD to achieve 200+FSB stable...also try 2.5 or 3 cas to see if this helps also.

Actually, I wouldn't recommend raising your chipset voltage unless you have to. Mine is currently doing 216fsb with 1.6v, Prime stable. It's probably a case by case basis...but there's no point in putting voltage through things unless you have to. :)

Also, you might want to keep the L12 mod in mind if you reach a limit at a lower point than what you expected.

on my NF7-S rev 2.0...I had to raise it to 1.7 to achieve 200+FSB stable and most seem to have to go to 1.7v's on the VDD voltage...wish I could run mine past 200FSB at 1.6...that is why I stated about upping his VDD voltage...since his is acting like mine until I upped the VDD voltage...

Im looking to drop my multi to 10x230fsb or 10.5x220fsb. I have no problems staying at the current speed thst I am at. I have upped my core voltage as high as 1.9v and my vdd voltage as high as 2.8v. With my fsb at 220 or 230 it will boot into windows just fine but when I run any 3d apps it reboots my machine.

Certainly do the L12 mod, its the biggest impact on FSB for a 133fsb chip on a rev2 nf7-s.

Depending on the stepping of 2100+ you probably have more oc left in that chip, as long as your cooling is up to the task. Regardless you should lower your mult and find your FSB limit first, its easier than upping fsb and mhz at the same time and not knowing which limit you hit.

VDD voltage does not go that high...your VDIMM does thought...the VDIMM is the memory...the VDD is the northbridge voltage which is usally what needs to be raised to achieve over 200FSB stable...VDD voltage goes from 1.6 to 1.9

With my current setup in sig my vdimm voltage is at 2.7.
My mistake I was talking about the VDimm.

Ok heres what I have so far, if I up my vdd from 1.6 to 1.7 No post at all, have to reset cmos. so I think that upping the vdd is out of the question. I currently have 11x210=2310 going to bench 3dmark03 to see if it still roboots.

my board does 231 dual channel 1.7v vdd max
almost all v2.0 boards do 225 no problem. the l12 mod helps a lot of people with high fsb's though
the only other thing is your ram. is it the twinmos chips, winbond chips, or other? don't be afraid to give your ram 2.9v (i always do)

sounds like you won the lottery on the VDD voltage and running past 200FSB at 1.6 :D...most people are like me and have to have it at 1.7v's to run stable past 200FSB...

I was able to complete 3dmark03 without it rebooting which is a first for running my fsb over 200. but it didnt seem to give me a better score.

After some extensive testing I found that its not stable @ 210.
Any more sugg.

I have muskin lvl1 3200 memory and I was wondering what is the highest safest voltage you can pump into it? Currently it is at 1.75....

Try setting your VDimm to Auto, my Buffalo\Winbond won't run over 200FSB stable when I set it to a specific voltage, on Auto voltage I can run 220FSB 24hrs of Prime and Memtest stable.
