FSB question

I just got the k7s5a and ran the hacked bios. The XP 2100+ chip was immediately recognized. Everything is stable, but I have a question. I (unfortunately) am running pc133 sdram (Crucial/cas2). Am I stuck at a 66mhz fsb?

nope

pc133 ram is 133FSB... you could overclock, but usually, SDRam is not good at overclocking...

thats rubish. good pc133 can usually do 145-150+ without any problems.

hell ive got 64mb of pc100 in my via-c3 rig that does 150fsb!

usually? i have never owned a stick of pc133 that hasnt done at least 145fsb - which might not be much - but its enough to get his chip to over 1.8ghz

Take a look at my rig I have pc100 and it is running good at 150/150 just try it out.

I just unlocked the cpu and now I am back at 133/133 but hitting 1670 mhz.
