I have an unlocked AMD 1.2, and an Asus A7V133 mobo and can't for the life of me raise the FSB. It's set at 133, and 134 is the best I can get. I'm currently running the clock * at 9.5, w/ no problem.

I see some guys with similar systems running 140+.

What the hell?!?

Thanks -

Well one of three things could be happening here.

1. Your CPU doesn't like you pushing the processor past where it is. Try lowering your multiplier and then rasing your FSB to see what happens there.

2. Your memory cannot handle the additional speeds. (Most decent PC-133 should be able to go a few MHz higher but maybe yours is borderline).

3. A card in your system doesn't like the additional FSB. Some older PCI cards have a hard enough time running at 133 let along a higher speed.

Check #1 out first and then take it from there, that is typically the problem in most cases.
