socket 478? is the new lg775 better? ive never even heard of it!

also im thinking of getting the xp-90 rather then xp-120, as the xp-120 has some serious issues with the abit ic7-max3 due to the otes! but i dont know a good 90mm fan, thats not too loud, but still powerful enough to let me overclocker to about 3.7ghz.

how much difference in in the xp-120 and xp-90? if its not much ill prob just get the xp-90

edit: also if any1 know a way where i could maybe cut down the total price a bit, but not performance too much... it would help greatly!!

to save cash....maybe a fortran PSU? they are supposed to be really good and not as expensive as antec trues....
Also, RAM....your not gonna notice the difference between 2 2 2 5 and 2.5 3 3 6 so no point in going overboard, heck I'd personaly get value RAM unless your a benchmark junky.
And maybe a different MB...If i recall the max3 wasn't any better than the IC7 normal or Asus p4b800 (think that's the model #)

yeah i was gonna get the AI7-GURU motherboard, that's only like £70 and apparently its even better then the IC7-MAX3... what do u think?

also gonna get a crt 19" rather then a tft... as for the ram, the reason i wanted those is because ive heard they overclock well, and i wanna get 250fsb with my cpu!
