I got $300 to burn. Here's my design for my existing system. Dual rads and pumps with directional flow arrows on the drawing.
A few points:
Six 120mm fans on the rads that I want to control by a rheobus.

Two existing 80mm side blowhole fans not shown in drawing, one is across from gpu other is across from mem/cpu area.

Two existing 80mm fans at top rear of case. I'm not sure what to do with them. If they draw air in for the top radiator then they would be drawing the exhaust from the psu but if that's not really that warm then it may not matter.

My artistry is not that good but I think the main points are illustrated. I'm thinking dual pumps will help because of the long tubing length with the dual radiators and slightly longer loop of clear tubing. I have the space for dual radiators in the case and want to stay as close to ambient as possible when upping my voltage and possibly trying out a pelt later on (and yes I've used one before but with air cooled Alpha Pep66 on a PIII700).
Am I going to gain much by the dual rads and pumps?

I'll tell you I was going to go the Dual pump route, but I decided on a single Eheim 1250 after much reading...I don't know if the dual Radiator is even worth the trouble but maybe someone else will disagree with that.

from what i hear hte gain is minimal with 2 rads and pumps but the pelt will definitly help.

With the pelt there will be even more heat to get rid of so will it help to have two rads and pumps then?

I have 2 radiators both with 2 92mm fans on thim, I wanted a quiet system so I did the 7v mod on all my fans and everything is super quiet now and still keeping a good temp. If I only had 1 radiator and still used the 92mm fans and had thim on 7v it would not of been enough to cool a 1.2 tbird. A nother reason I went 2 rads is because I was going to try 172watt pelt and thought it would be best with 2 rads.

I also did this to just test and see if 2 rads are better thin one however I had no accurate temp probe so I never got to see if there was a difference:mad:

Gone_fishin, yes...I would say that is definitely a bit of overkill. But hey, you never have to worry about low pressure or using two pumps! Instead, you'll just have to figure out how to use 1" hosing throughout your system so you can get max water flow. :D

craigiz1, I don't have a resevoir in my plan as I thought with two rads the water volume would be large enough and I plan on using the pump inline.

Warlord2, where inline did you place your pump and did you ever try out that pelt? Sounds like a good setup:)

Kosmic1, it says it comes with 1/2" fittings so I bet that flow rate will be less.

Does anyone have a rough idea what the flow rate should be using 1/2" fittings with that pump?
