Does anyone else have a stutering problem with the fx4100 seems like ever since i upgraded my computer stutors.

You would be the first person that mentioned it...What are your system specs? Have you updated your bios to the latest? Chipset drivers?

My specs should be in my signature and yea i have ive had this setup for about 3 to 4 months now and its still happening. Ive tried turning off all the bios cool n quite settings and tried oc it to see it would stop stutering and updating bios but no luck so far.

You do not have a signature in either of these posts. Are you posting from the mobile skin/device? That would explain it...

Can you elaborate on the stuttering? In game? When does this happen?

heres my setup in my signature. It stutters randomly, its most obvious when ever there is sound present i can clearly tell if its stuttering. Like when listening to music it stutters and the sound gets all weird like a vhs tape when its scratched and it freezes for like a good sec and then returns to normal same with games it will randomly freeze for 1sec and even sometimes for more than 15 seconds and everything will be back to normal again.

Have you tried updating your sound drivers with the newest from the Asus website?

i checked and there are no current sound drivers just the default one that came with the mobo.

When you say its stuttering what do you mean exactly, is it stuttering in watching youtube, movies, games or everything?

oops never mind.....

I have the latest drivers on i think everything and I've ruled out everything, it only started every since I switched over to the fx4100.

The only thing i can think of it to re-seat it in the socket, beyond that i don't know.

i think it's not the CPU's problem, its likely a software problem... can you monitor your ram, CPU usage and temps while doing the things you usually do? download hw monitor from google :)
