If I didn't have an eVGA 8800GTX 768MB and WinXP 32-bit I'd definitely put this in my system. When I use a 4gb kit in my system, I only see my system going from its current 2gb up to 3gb... So... I feel much better knowing I get ALL of my ram with a 2gig kit, but I do wanna upgrade already!!!

Is anyone using 64-bit, having no issues with it, and loving it for everyday use and gaming?? =/

P.S. I didn't know there were CHEAPLY PRICED 4gig kits of DDR2-1000. All of the good deals I had seen were DDR2-800....

So are there any 2x2GB kits that are likely to do ~400-450 4-4-4 ? The only 4-4-4 rated kits are DDR2-800, there are some not too expensive DDR2-1000 kits but they're all cas5. Am I asking for the impossible, or just the expensive;)?

i got my 800's to 444,13
when they were rated 555
corsairs xms
not higher with these timings though
