you can always wait for the next thing to come out - People waited for the new intel stuff and it sucks *** - Just get what's the best right now - I love this board with my fx-53 but I am having problems with ram timings.

I just ordered a nf7-S rev 2 and a mobile 2500. The rest of the stuf that I ordered, speakers, monitor, case etc... will last me the next upgrade anyway

Kgeorge, I also have a fx53 and I was having problems with ram timings but found a solution.

I have a twin pack of corsair XMS x-tra low latency modules (rated at 2-2-2-5), and I was only able to get them stable when I raised the ddr voltage by .2v (my ram is recommened to run at 2.7v but is under warranty until 2.9 v). At 2.8v, it is very stable.

I've done that already - I have 2 gigs corsair twinx5000 - I dont even care about timings - I just want to board to run the ram at 1:1 with 4 dimms installed - For some reason, It always resets to 2x160 - Using 2 dimms, it works fine!

After tons of problems, I figured this out and must say this is one of the best boards I've ever owned - Too bad my ram sucks

the board absolutely will not run 1:1 with 4 dimms installed unless its running a command rate of 2t which decreases the bandwidth huge - I sold the 4x512 and bought 2x1024 - working awesome now at 1:1 @13x210

So you are you satisfied with it? I was thinking about getting that or the ASUS (need onboard gameport along with my Soundcards Gameport). I didnt even see the ABIT not having it. Can you manually turn off sound and gameport in your BIOS seperate from each other?

not sure about that but overall I love the board (except nowhere in the back of the motherboard for a rear fan)
No big deal = It's been stable since I figured everything out!

I give it a 9/10
