try overclocking it. goto aoafiles.com and go and get the app nvmax. Since it is a gainward it will be able to oc well.

Tanice,

I got 2 Gainwards. Gf2 Ti450, and a Gf3 Ti 450 Golden Sample
that just showed up 2 days ago.

You NEED to track down RivaTuner to tweak and overclock the
card. I would also recommend the 23.11 dets.

I got 7484 in 3md21k with the [email protected] and the Gf3 at
221/536.

The Gf2 running with my 1.1a gets something like 4800-5000.
with the celly at 1434 and the card at 220/515.

I cant find my RivaTuner link, but it is easy to find. (Google it up)

Have you tried the utility that came with the Gainward card ?
Is it any good, or is it a big resource hog ?

RivaTuner works so good for me, I never opened up either CD....

I personally found the gainward app annoying. I think it does driver level oc'ing and I prefer "Low-level" oc'ing. Its also not very pretty to look at and runs in the system tray NO MATTER WHAT. I opened my cd's and quickly put them back in the box never to be seen again ;)

Rivatuner is my choice but others like NVmax are pretty good too. Check out Nvidia Bios Collection by Ray Adams for updated NVidia bios's. I just updated my Gainward GF3 TI200 and found out it changes the default speeds to 200/450 AND adds a logo (if its not already there) to the Video Bios Init. during POST. And I personaly like the new 28.32's for the drivers... better performance and quality. Nice little balance going on between the two.

I'm with Rain - ExpertTool sux. Go with RivaTuner...its the best I've used so far. Good luck with your OC!

These Gainward cards rock.
(Looks like that bios update just turns the others into Ti 450's)

How high are people getting the Gf3 Ti's up to ?

My Gainward Gf2 Ti450 would get to 230/520 before
ArtifactTester5 showed any artifacts. (I run it at 220/515)
