Man, I'm having the SAME problem with the SAME components. I always thought it was something I did...
It's probably too late for me to send it back, it's been a few weeks and I don't wanna deal with the hassle. Anyone else have any tips?

Try this..
If your comp doesnt post and just beeps then its because of one of 3 reasons or a combination of them:
1)Video card not seated properly/reinsert
2)Ram sticks not seated properly/reinsert
3)Too high a clock setting in bios/clear cmos
If that doesnt work then something is probably bad.

Maybe i can help..
I have been researching new motherboards, and in two other forums there was talk about msi boards not being very compatable with the new geforce4 mx cards... there was talk also of some help on this at the msi website but i cannot confirm this.
check out the amdmb forum, they have a msi mb section that is really informative, do a search in the forum as this can help

I am here to confirm this. There is a known issue with GF4MX cards and MSI pro2 seris M/B. MSI has fixed this on their new revisions but on the older ones you just have to use a different card. I suggest a good GF2TI. Essentiantly the same card. Or maybe a 128mb GF3TI200. They can be had for about $150 now.

Man, that sucks!
Thing is, I get mine to work most of the time. It seems once it get's past the boot I'm good to go, no problems at all. Once I shut it off and start up again I have a 10-20% chance of beeps and stuff, other times it comes on fine.
I'm really broke so I guess I'm stuck with it for now.
